Would you take this shot???

That pic reminds me of a spiker I saw up in Wisconsin this season while scouting. He was walking around with a big ol' aluminum arrow stuck in his butt. Didn't go in far, maybe an inch or two. He seemed fine, doubt he made it through gun season though, you could spot him a mile away.
Sometimes those kinda shots happen, even to the best of us. But, when you purposely take a shot like that, that is just ignorant.....

Well it will kill a deer but it certainly is not the highest precentage shot. An ethicel hunter would wait for more a ethicel shot where more of the deers body cavity is showing. This is certainly not the kind of shot any bowhunter should condone but accidents do happen.

Again guys...I'm not the one who took this shot.
This is a copy of a photo posted on the Mathews board. All the guys over there are slapping this guy on the back....telling him what a good shot it was. I took the stance, over there, that it was unethical. I'm the ONLY one. The shot WAS intended JUST as it happened. I even started a new thread over there asking the moderators point-blank if they condoned this type of shot. I think, as evidenced by when I first got started, a lot of guys start out with what gets advertised the most.....a Mathews. I seem to see a lot more beginners posting over on that board, than here. I KNOW there's a lot more knowledge here, than there. I'm afraid the guy getting his new bow and starting into hunting will see that and the responses......and think all he has to do is hit the deer. That's what I'm afraid of.
I wanted to know if "I" was off-base thinking this shot selection (or LACK of a shot) was unethical. I think it is.
Thanks for your responses. The thread is called "first bow deer" on the Mathews page if you're interested.

Think though I am shooting 30" arrows where would the tip be at thirty inches? well all I can say is it looks horrible but If the deer was quartering at a hard 90 to the right...you might think you had a better shat than you did. Obviously shot was a little off! To risky for me
