hey fellas, well i made a stupid move today when i went to buy some new arrows. I told the man who cuts them the wrong size. Their and inch longer than the arows i shoot now. When i was shooting them at home iwas shootin g good group. I just want to know peoples opinion on if they'll shoot any different.

I'm by no means an expert, but if you're shooting good groups at 20, 30 and 40 yds with the arrows that are 1" longer than the ones you've been using I say 'no problem', but remember I'm not an expert.The arrows I currently shoot are 1/2" longer than what I started at an find that I'm more accurate.

Depends on a lot of variables.....You have weakend the spine some, but maybe not enough to matter. They are also a tad heavier, but I doubt it's enough you would notice. If they are aluminum, you can remove the inserts and recut them the correct length....Don't think you'll be able to cut them if they are carbon, the insert sits in there farther than an inch.....and you can't take them out....

Youcould strip the fletchings and cut from the back end if the nocks are pressure fit... But if you're shooting well, it shouldn't be a problem.

Without running your set up it would be hard to know for sure. My bet would be that unless you were shooting really underspined to begin with you will be fine. Most people shoot carbons on the stiff side, so one inch shouldn't make a huge difference, might make them better if they were too stiff.

The only way to know is to tune the bow. You will know for sure when you put some broad heads on and shoot them. You may need to re-tune your bow, then again you may not.
