David asked me a question and I answered. I do hope you are joking with this question though. My 1st post was answering Jeffs original post where he stated in his last sentence What are you guys thoughts on this.....and what different things do you guys do???

Yes, I'm joking. That's what the smiley face was for. If I was serious I would have frowned like this [>:]. Or like this [:@]. And if I'm really serious... like this [:'(].

Cool, you never know around here anymore; BTW nice buck again. I am hoping to score this weekend for a memory photo or mount like Jeff is asking about. It is suppossed to rain though and we have been in the 50's for temps. I have a muzzleloader any sex tag but I am trying to fill it with my bow.Hunting is tough right now this late in the season as you well know and without cold weather I have decided a silent stalk in wet leaves may be the ticket. My plan is to put a ghillie on and slowly stalk through the woods with the east wind in my face. Got any doe tags left or are you done?

OK, ... I think I understand. I thought you were saying I couldn't shoot a big deer if I didn't plan on taking it to the taxidermist. Wait, that's what you did say. Aw to heck with it, if he walks by I'm shooting him.[8D] OH, and by the way... there are lots of places where you can't get a doe tag. I finally got one in NY this year after 3 years without. I didn't fill it, not because I couldn't.... I just didn't feel like it.

HCH, I have no more room in my freezer and the does were kind of sparse in my spot this year. I'm going back out a few more times with my camera and to set up my trail cam, to see if I can get some pics.

LOL. I never said you couldn't; I said we don't. Shoot what you want. I don't tell other guys what to shoot. When I start paying your bills and buying your deer tags than I will have a say in what you shoot. Not only that Ilive in IA and you live out east; your harvests has no impact on my life.

I don't need to worry about the meat, My Wife Fill's the freezer in this family! She even has her own scoreing system, basedon how round and full their hind quarters are. I'm a Antler Addict, a Rack Junkie. I have, 10 shoulder mounts, 2 at the taxidermist, 2 that I need Capes for, (to take to the Taxidermist), 3 European, 12 on Plaque's, And would have a few more hanging around, but sawed 13 sets up in 87 to make some things. I moved back to Northern Michigan 10 seasons ago and have only filled 3 tags in this state, my choice, I try to take Bucks here that will gross 130.I get just as much enjoyment drawing back on a 1 1/2 or 2 1/2 year old Buck and let him slide, as I would if Itook him. So yes I'm looking for wall hangers!!! As a matter of fact, looks like we will be moveing this year just for that reason!

No, i would never shot any animal for the trophy. I would only shot it for fun. I hunt to have fun, i dont hunt for trophy.

Not sure I understand, killzone. If there's a "trophy" involved.....would that make it LESS fun?....or MORE fun???
