Default Trophy Ridge 2 Piece Quiver

I was looking into buying another quiver for my bow. I like the two piece design as that is what I have now so I think I will stick with it.I was looking at the Trophy Ridge "Ridge Hunter"

Does anyone use or have used this quiver? If so how do you/did youlike it? How does it mount? I ask this because it looks like the bottom part is offset but the hooded part is straight.

Let me know.....Thanks

Mobo,

Thanks for the reply, I really like this quiver (on paper)so if you (or anybody else) could please answer some more questions I would appreciate it.

1. How does it attach? My bow has the standard 3/8in hole to mount it to, will that work?

2.What keeps it from rotating? With the quiver I have now the mounting pins are taperedso when it's tightened down it just gets more snug. For example, some are puzzle type fitted, some have set screws and others (like the one I have) use a tapered type pin.

3. How does it line up if the lower mount is offset and the upper is straight?

1. Your riser will have mounting holes in it, top and bottom. Standard size, it'll fit.

2. It can't rotate after it's screwed in...

3. Hard to explain, for me anyway...but it works. Bolt it up before you buy it, you'll see.

I know that, I have a 2 piece mounted in those holes now, what I would like to know is. Arethe Trophy Ridge mounts round too? Looks like they are triangle shaped from the photo I posted or is that the end that fits into the quiver.

The part that fits into the bow, if it's round does it just use pressure from the screw to stay in place or is the peg tapered so that the more it's tightened the more "jammed" it gets...make sense? I have had the type that fit into place loose and just the pressure ofthe mount screw held it into place. Those always moved no matter how hard I'd tighten the screw. That's why most have some sort of shape that fits with the bow ie; triangle, square, hexagon, etc...this way you don't have to over tighten to keep the quiver in place. With the quiver I have now it's a little different. The quiver posts are round like the holes only they start to taper out slightly so when you tighten them in with the screw they "wedge" themselves in real tight and they don't budge.

I know it's hard to explain, I'm having a hell of a time just trying to ask the questions.

I see what you're saying now.........I can't imagine it wouldn't work though....It would be terribly stupid on their part. I can't see them not using something that would fit every bow.....and not having to special build one that's triangular....I'm sure it will work fine. The triangle is probably smaller than the mounting holes......I would assume anyway.

I guess the best bet would be head to shop and see if it bolts up....I'm sure it will though.
