Well you can make up for the lost sleep now. What a great buck, Glad it turned out this way. Great job on the pictures too. Those are some to really be proud of and show off.

That should inspire some more late season hunting. I know I haven't givin up yet.

I have never been a huge fan of late season hunting but this year we have hit it hard and have been seeing some good bucks.

I just got back from hunting tonight and once again we saw another shooter. We were hunting in a set for the first time and we didnt have a lot of times to clear lanes. He came by at about 30 yards but not shot. Fortunately it was a little too dark for good footage so it doesnt make me feel as bad. But im headed in tomorrow to clear lanes and i just set up my trail cam tonight to see if i can catch him moving through the area.

This buck is a very old main framed 8 with a split G2. I have video of him this summer and tons of trail cam pics. Im hoping that we can get on him before the season ends and before he sheds. With his old age its hard telling how big he will be next year.
