That's a great story... I'm in the same boat. In fact I'm writing this from my office overlooking Times Square, so you can imagine the number of hunters here!

But NYers love food and my venison tenderloin with port wine reduction blew them away. ha ha ha .... Plus, suburban people recognize deer as kind of a nuisance.

As for PETA, people bash them here maybe more than we need. I've never met a PETA person, so I don't want to act just like them and assume they're ALL stupid.

I usually ask non-hunters if they've ever seen a pack of wolves tear apart a deer or caribou... I single gun or arrow shot is a whole lot quicker...
