I was thinking about getting the kind of sights that have the knob that you slide up and down to adjust your yardage. I was wanting to get the "Sniper" out of the cabelas archery magazine. But i think that it would be to much movement to be playing with sights when a deer comes in, my question is... how do they work for hunting? do deer spook when you try to adjust it? and has anyone had any experience with this particular sight (the sniper) before? Thanks in advance

I use a adjustable sight. I use a single pin. HHA Optimizer Lite and its a very good sight. About moving it when hunting. Your fooling yourself if you think your going to adjust it before you shoot! I'm not saying it will never happen, but odds are not good! I set mine at 20 yards and leave it there for hunting. My shot max is 30 yards. That on setting is good to just over 20 yards and at 30 I aim 3 1/2" high on the deer. Its really simple! If I ever wanted to shoot 40 and had time to adjust it I could.
Good Luck!
