mine this season was hunting 25 yards from my son and watching him thread an arrow through a nice doe, and then one minute later me taking out a nice doe. man talk about pumped. they were doe's but sometimes it is just the way things go down that make the show.

All great memories guys that's for sure.

I'm not going to sum up my season to just one day. It's the whole that makes this year very special to me.

I saw some of the best bucks this year than I've seen in my life and let's hear it for AR's.

My buck was memorabel but I was more elated to be there filming over the shoulder when Kurt took his first buck in 4 years in my food plot which I worked hard on as well. Laughing at Kurt when he missed one the day prior with me again, filming over his shoulder and the laugh on his face when he finally had the "balz" to turn and look at the camera because he knew.

Seeing the biggest buck of my life and calling him to 60 yards, a world class 170" 8 point that I'm still in shock over.

Seeing other mega bucks that week,

Being able to make the trip and hunt with a southern gentleman,

and closing with taking my landowner out for the first day of rifle and having him thank me for doing what I do, quote, "if it weren't for you Rob, I'd probably have given up on hunting". end quote.

One day doesn't make my season this year.

Oh and those damn Bro's b4 Does guys...[8D]

I'll be sure to tell him when we shoot soon that, "This ain't your daddy's bow...it's somewhere east of the Mississippi. Then proceed to show him that his hoyt don't hold a candle to a bowtech.

Mine is kind of a two for one deal.

Not only did I tag my first buck, but my dad and I doubled.

Both bucks were shot within a half an hour of each other.

The both of us.

My favorite (and everyone elses it seems)of my deer.

GREAT stories, guys....simply AWESOME!

Seeing the buck I injured was the best.....and I still:

1) Harvested a piebald
2) Saw 4 buck fights involving 6 different adolescent bucks in 1 day
3) Had a 5 pointer bed down 14 yds from me for 1:40 (same day as above!)
4) Took my first deer outside of "my" woods
5) Had an owl light in front of me
6) Had a wren light on my arrow (1st day in the new Enigma)
7) Took a deer for Ashley (Thank you God)
8) Harvested my first deer with the bow....(7 point buck for Team 36)
9) Harvested a main frame 8 pointer...."calling" my shot!
10) Hosted Rob/Pa for a weekend of fun and hunting....(we saw the deer in #9)
11) having germ call me and do NOTHING but count to 16 (when he shot Porky)
12) Giving "Porky" his name
13) Having teammates like mine to go to for answers and encouragement
14) Being fortunate enough to gain permission to hunt where I do.

I've been fortunate in MANY, MANY apsects in my first full season of bowhunting. I'm not naive. I KNOW this will likely never be duplicated. It can't! That's the beauty of it. I'll never have another one like this one.

And these are just the HUNTING highlights. My wife makes every day a joy.

I have been blessed.

Jeff

Having my 71 year old hunting partner shoot a 6 point buck with his ML and me tracking it and finding it the next morning while he sat in his stand trying to fill his doe tag.
The look on his face when I went to his stand to get him for lunch and telling him I found his deer!
