Thanks TFOX, so in other words, it should be perfectly fine? I wonder what I'm doing wrong then that's causing me to be so out of center shot???? I have, and use, a sight level.....

Your centershot problem has nothing to due with your cam spacing.The spacing looks correct to me.



My assumption would be spine, torque or both.

I have checked many regular cam 1/2's and they are all shimmed like this and the top and bottom cams are aligned very well,not perfect in some cases but most are way better than average.Most of the longer a-a bows are near perfect.My Ultratec and Protecs were perfect.

Spine and torque are what I thought as well.....Spine should be good, though I'm gonna mess around w/ different weight points and see what happens....Torque SHOULD be good, but could certainly be a problem. I just wonder how much of it is attributed to being a new bow I'm not familiar w/ yet.......

All I can tell you is that a Vectrix is a Vectrix is a Vectrix. Put a Trophy Taker drop away on and a Black Gold Radiant sight and the bow performs flawlessly for us.

I will say this,set centershot regardless of what the paper is telling you.

I like paper and I try to achieve bulletholes but I will NECER compromise centershot to achieve it.

I will play with spine,cable twist,cam lean but never centershot.


Centershot affects accuracy DIRECTLY.


One thing I have had problems with in the past causing paper tears is facial pressure on my string.

I have too much to learn here....[8D]

The arrows were fishtailing BADLY when set at centershot...I could see them it was so bad....I don't know how else to correct that other than by moving the rest? Are you saying twisting the cables could fix it?

My plan is to reset center shot and mess around w/ point weight to see if that fixes it....

NO,I have in the past adjusted "timing" to fix tear problems but that most likelyisn't your problem.

Good thinking; the TT does perform flawlessly and the BG Radiant is the 1st sight that I have ever owned that is still light before/after legal shooting light. This setup works on the Hoyts perfect; I just removed this from my Trykon and the TT is the same one that was on my Xtec.

I got it, I got it...you're Pro staff for TT and MBG, and you endorse them ......Good for you, but I'll NOT be changing my rest and sights. Thanks for your incredibly invaluable input however....
