Default Arrow in buck!?

Hello all,
I saw this buck come out this evening & noticed something strange.. if you look close you can see an arrow (green fletching) sticking out of this small bucks side/back. The deer looks to be "ok" for the most part & didn't act funny or hurt, but, other deer were licking at the wound/arrow. If you look at the second pic from the left you can see the arrow running down at an angle to his chest just under the hide, I sure hope this is the LAST time I ever personally see something like this!!
Later, Phil B.

Default RE: Arrow in buck!?

It happens.

Looks to me like a quartering shot gone bad. High hit, ran at an angle along the spine.

Accidents happen and this is one of them. Too bad really, but if the deer appeared to be fine, hopefully he'll live.
