RE: odd feather up?

cock feather up on wisker biscuit. With cock feather up the flights won't hit the outside housing. Plus the black bristles at the bottom are stiffer, this lets the other two flights pass along each side of the black bristles without contact with them.

"from my experience"

So you guys are saying.....if you shoot a drop away......all your arrows could be "different"...and as long as it's a drop away it won't matter?

I shoot a drop away.....and on ALL my arrows .....I orient the cock vane the same on every shot (up).

Matter or not....I like to think I'm recreating the same thing on every shot.

I shoot cock feather up on my compound because of my rest. Its three prong rest requires it.

Other than that the only reason it maters is if it would hit something. Unless you talking the WB and then all of them should pass through.

on a WB the cock fletching should be up..any WB ive seen atleast. the middle of the bottom of the WB is a stiffer bristle and your vanes should not pass through them..they are there to support the arrow...

On my drop away, i used to shoot with the odd one down, but noticed a bit of blackening on the tip of the cock feather. Figured it was hitting the drop way before it cleared. My brother had the same issue, switched to cock feather up.
