I'm living in the wrong state, but If I was single man wanting to live out my life in the whitetail woods, I'd head north to Saskatchewan and make camp next to my buddy Hiawatha. Folks up there aren't so into "entering book bucks" I witnessed bucks up there thatus Yankeeswould go nutzo over..to those folks they're used to it and they don't make a big deal about it. Sas, three times the size of texas, only roughly one million people. Whitetail habitat as good as it gets. 300lb blocky headed bruisersthat make 160 inch racks look small on the tops of their heads. jm2c

This mapindicates bothP&Y and B&C totals from every county in the country, the website says it's "current" info. I think it's pretty obvious when looking at this map where most of the big bucks come from .

Shed33 has some good points, i truely believe Sask or Alberta has the most deer that would cause a mans mouth to water however nobody sees them due to low hunting pressure. If we had the number of hunters that say pa had, old milo's record would have been broken years back. And also there isn't the hype up here to advertise or enter boonies into the records which is not the case in the south. For instance i know of 3 deer taken by friends last year that scored over 190's well up into the 200's however nobody hears about em cept a few friends. One of those deer i had in my scope at one time
. I feel we will never own the non typical record and milo's days are numbered for the typical record. Somewhere i am pickin illinois, iowa or kansas are going to produce records for years to come due to the big deer and hunting pressure. My friend troy you are welcome at my place anytime, u can tag along to greg if ya want lol.

I wish that Ontario or Saskatchuwan were states because it would blow most other states out of the water, they produce some of the biggest and most antler massed deer i have ever seen[>:]

Hia,
You don't know how bad I want to commit right now to a spring break trip for shed hunting again. I am afraid to post the video I have from up there, in respects to you guys. The thing that keeps you safe from all us Yankees invading is your Guided hunt policy only...for Alien non residents..Honestly if I was a Sas res..I wouldn't want it any other way. Again Hia, you dont know how much I appreciate getting to roam you timber up there finding bones..Someday with your good graces maybe I will post some pics and video I have from up there...
GregH. Lets go. We'd have to pay an outfitter though... Wish Hia had his license..I've thought about asking an outfitter in Hias area if it would be possible for me to pay him the fees..and just hunt with Hia..I would have to check it all out make sure it would be legit..So Hia wouldnt be in harms way..legally... Anyway ...I am just ranting..but I will soon be back in Sas..hunting bone for a full week..
