I'm not very impressed with the looks (but then again how much does that matter), but I'll darn sure shoot one before I offer any criticism or praise.

I think that you have to figure that if you go on any bow manufacturers message bow and say that thier bows suck you're going to get some nagitive comments.

For all of you that say that you're not impressed I'm just wondering what it would take to impress you. And as far as the comment about hardcore Mathews fans being worse than other bow fans about thier brand loyalty give me a freaking break. Almost everybody on this forum thinks that there's no other bow on the markey as good as the one that they're shooting.
No, TeeJay and Motown have sent me Pm's telling me that they wished they shot Hoyts

HCH sent me a PM about wanting to shoot a ROSS, I told him he was not tough enough[8D] He needs to shoot bigger bucks, and not the little ones!

Wow....a buddy and I were going to buy the new mathews as soon as it came to our dealer at the sametime....I called him and told him the msrp was $850 and he about ****. LOL. Too bad it isn't 31 inch axle to axle. I think we'll both probaly get a 07' switchback xt. Hard to tell, but I'm sure the dealer will try to push this new bow on us so we may end up with one.

Guys they are selling them for $680 at the proshopI go to. I shot it today and it's one smooth ride. I think the new limb pocket design has made a huge difference. I love my Switchback and ordered the new Drinlin to hang beside it. Hardcore I tried the Hoyts but the tunning fork effect made my eyes rattle. You wanna talk about goffy looking check out that new Bowtech.

I'm not considered a HARDCORE Mathews fan IMO. I shot Mathews, Hoyt, and Bowtech when I went to purchase my bow. I hated the Hoyt, liked the Bowtech Allegiance, and loved the Mathews Switchback.

That being said, if the Drenalin is selling for $700 I may end up going and seriously looking at one. My Switchback is working just fine for me right now however so it will probably be in my bow case for a few more years to come.

If they are going in the pro shops for around $700 that definetly makes it alittle more appealing. After comparing the specs with the other companies it seems like 33" ata is the normal for 07'. I really love the 31" on my High Country, and hate to pick up the extra two inches(approx). But I'll have to shoot both the xt and the new drenalin and then decide.
