My question is, the weather on Wed. here is around 70 degrees with about 5mph winds with a front approaching Wed. night. Thurs morning before sunrise and through about midday or early afternoon it is suppose to be VERY windy and stormy and then clearing Thurs. afternoon becoming cooler and less windy ( from around 20-25mph to around 10-12mph.) My instincts tell me to go Thurs. afternoon instead of Wed. afternoon but if the front is late I'll get soaked and I am recovering from pneumonia already. What would you guys do? I've always felt going just after a storm is the best time?

Before the storm, when the barometer is falling is best.At this time of year, you need to be in the woods every chance you can.Weather, temps are only part of the game. The drive to breed is another story.

That front hit Oklahoma last night. It is 40 degrees, raining and a strong North wind (20-30 mph). I almost hit an 8 pointer this morning leaving my neighborhood. He was chasing 2 does. I guess if they are wanting some sugar they dont care about the weather. I will be out all day tommorrow after the front.......
Good Luck and try to stay warm....
