i will start the rumors then.......someone shoots a deer that size in OKLAHOMA and he tells noone, and noone has heard of it, sounds a little fishy, and there are no photos of the kill in the field....ok im the dic^

thinkin same thing. not that Ok cant produce those deer. they have monsters, but a deer that size doesnt slip through anymore, he would be a celeb. no one is dumb enough to say nuthing over a deer like that, unless something illegal went down. IMO

i'm just saying that i'm hearing nothing locally except what i put in my original post. i think it is obvious that he did not check it, because nobody knew anything about it till it showed up at the taxidermist. i'm guessing that it was run over or shot with a gun from the road!

Can you tell me what highway he was on, and speak up so I can hear you while I'm loading my rifle. The Oklahoma line is only 5 hours away.......... On the road again, I just can't wait to get on the road again........ Everybody sing along.

i agree hawgman, i think something "fishy" happened such as not checked, found, shot from road, shot in high fence, something. a buck of this caliber doesnt go unheard. especially loaclly. it would be a legend around town. if not then another great buck from oklahoma, which is probably the most underrated state for big bucks. never here its name, but its got texs below it and kansas above it.

What taxadermist was it taken to? It wouldn't take too much to find out the story on that monster. I'm sure ODWC would be interested in a buck that big. If there is a question about it I'm sure a game warden wouldn't mind driving over to the Taxadermist to waste time gawking over that beast.
