OK - We are not in Alberta - This picture is in Central NY

We haven't actually seen this buck - so maybe its "the angle" that makes him look so big in the body. I wish I had a better picture - but what do you all make of this little racked buck with such a body? Do you think he's an older deer with bad antler genes - or maybea young buck with GREAT body genes?



Below is asimilar sized rack buck to compare.

I would have to say that he is the local "fat kid". Young buck, big body. His face is short like a 1.5 yo buck.

Young deer. Let him grow, he appears to have good genes....

I think it's a normal looking 1.5 year old. Put him next to a 3 year old or better and he's still look small.

Nice looking deer! the 1st pic looks to 2 to 2.5 Everything went to the boby and not the antlers he is a pig. I would love it see him at 4
