Default is it possible for bucks to be identical twins?

i saw two 4 pointers walking side by side, they must of both weighed 170 lbs, and they both had the same exact rack with about a 10 inch inside spread, and 2 points on each side, exactly identical to each other.
Were they twins?

Very well could be but I highly doubt 1.5 year olds weigh in at 170 lbs.

YES : About two weeks ago when I was out in my stand on public land andI had two young bucks walk in from my blind side and I didn't see them until they were about 50 yards to my right .
One was behind the other but they both were the same body size and they sported identical racks they had to be twins.

When bucks disperse, it is very plausible that twins would stick together and relocate to the same area.

Keep hunting where you are then if you have bucks that make 170 pounds in a year and a half. Must be eating really good.

I didn't say they were not 1.5 year olds, that I agreed on, most 1.5 year olds never make 170lbs. Like Jimimac asked, what are they feeding on.

My question, you shot one? How much did it weigh in at? Where's the pic?

there feeding on an endless supplyof egg corns and farm feilds that have things like corn, lettuce and all that stuff.

heres a pic of his teeth

i have a pic of his whole body but the files to large,
and he weighed exactly 169.4 lbs live weight. ( i know cause i had a scale)

is it really that hard to belive, in norther ny the deer have to live through negative degreese temps, so there bodys get big even with out good food.

I would have to see pics to buy that one. I have seen and taken some pretty big bodied deer and I have also heard a lot of stories about how much a deer weigh. Most of the "200 lbs" deer that I have seen have weighed less then 170lbs when you get them on a scale. 170lbs 1.5 year old is a little hard to swallow. 200 lbs doe?? If it is true good for you but it is a little hard to believe. Idon't thinkmany hunters have a good grasp on deer weights.
