Chase Phase
I live in East Central Illinois, and I know the deer are rutting but have not seen it for myself until....
FINALLY....Seen 6 bucks chasing a lonely doe through a cornfield. Then about 3 miles up the road seen 3 bucks chasing 2 does in a cornfield, this was at 330 pm todayon the way to work....I wanted to turn around and call in sick SO BAD!!!

I went out today @ 2:00pm Central,Il. I saw a nice 8 point running a couple does. When I saw them he was running herup the cornfield as fast ashe could go. Then head back other way. He was kicking up mud when he was chasing her. They finally stopped about 50yrds in front of me, what a sight. I used the can call and got the does attention but he was just watching her. I thought I could maybe get them to come my way.....but nope
