If and when I use a bait pile , I'll use a mix of sugar beets , carrots , corn and apples .
Can't go wrong with a mix like that.

Please just answer the question, guys. Let's not get a debate going....AGAIN. We all understand it isn't legal in some states.....and that some people disagree with the practice/method.

Thanks.

Jeff

Ok mom.

(I kid, I kid.)

I chose corn. I don't bait, but the folks who hunt our property that do have good success with corn every year.

Yep, but i bet you would hunt under an oak tree dropping acorns, or an apple tree dropping apples, or a food plot, or the edge of a corn field, etc. etc.

I've never had any luck bating deer. They run too fast and my swing is too slow.

I'll set up feeding stations with corn which I mix with sweet feed (oats, molasses, protien pellets, etc) which I get at my local Co-Op. The deer love it and it's nutritous for them. It keepsdeer on my property and off the neighboring properties.
