I hunted this past weekend in east central illinois and I saw 16 deer. I hunted saturday and then sunday morning. out of those 16, 5 were bucks. I had lots of activity that weekend.

Live in Farmer City (Near Champaign) and is really been slow the last 2 evenings....wondering if the warm weather has anything to do with it....or the big moon......

I've been out hunting since Saturday morning. With the full moon, the deer movement has been between 8-10am and then again from 1:30 to 3:30pm. However last evening the bucks remained out after 3:30 and every cut corn field was full of the big boys. I saw several bucks courting does and a couple of bucks chasing each other around. I would focus my stand time, for the next week, from 11am to sunset.
