The worst thing in the world is coming home from 10 days ofhunting to realize that there is 10.5 months until season opens again. [&:]

Sitting here at work today really really sucks. I need to buy more lottery tickets or something so I can retire in my 20's and just hunt full time during the fall and spend the rest of theyear growing food plots and shooting in competition.

Not an archery kill, but my 06 NY rifle kill taken this morning at APAJaws place near Oneonta, NY. I thought he had both sides, he was about 200 yards when I shot. He is still a great buck though and unusual for sure. He didn't break the other side off, it simply has no pedicle on that side so nothing grew there. APAJaws thinks he is a small 3.5 year old but tomorrow we will get his jaw open and look at the teeth. Anyhow it's probably good to get him out of there before we have a lot of unicorns running around. [8D]

I still have a NY late season archery buck tag, a NY doe tag, and a PA doe tag. I hope to fill one more, but if not........it still has been a great year.
