Been there in 2003 and 2004, takes more gutsto hold off then to pull the trigger

Good luck Justin, hope all goes well on your next hunt. To bad you werent using the golden eagle I bet it would have cracked right through whatever was blocking the shot. lol

That shows GREAT discipline on your part. Great job! I think going through the exercise of controlling your shot, even to the last second, will make you a better hunter. Sounds like your hunt was a success even though you still have your tag...

Justin:

The same bag limit applies here in NC, too, although I think NC residents MAY get a 3rd buck in the Eastern zones.

I have one more to go......whether I use it or not. I'm gonna put our buddy RobPA on a nice OLD buck when he gets down to visit.....though he MIGHT go 50"!....lol

That's the beauty of having friends in town to hunt. You can have them do your dirty work!.....and you still have a tag!!....lol
