Default Copan Lake?

Has any one had any luck hunting at Copan Lake near Bartlesville, Ok. If you have where do you suggest near the lake or near Cotton Creek.

Default RE: Copan Lake?

I have never hunted the area around the lake but I used to hunt the Mullendore Ranch that borders it. Lots of deer would go over to the lake at night to eat at the fields. If you are bowhunting you may not get much pressure from other hunters. During gun season the area is taken over by orange. I would get on the west side of the county road and try and get the deer heading back to the west from the fieldsin the morning. And catch them coming back in the evening. There has been some big bucks killed up there.Keep me posted on how you do.
