Default Fixed a Trespasser tonight

A few weeks ago the land owner and I talked to the Sherif about the people parking and hunting on the land I have permission tohunt .

He recomended we post the parking areas with signs that read
Athorized parking only
Any unotherized car will be towed at owners expense
To ******** towing , phone number *** *** ****

The land owner is the only one that can call , but that works

I contacted a local towing company and got free signs

Wellthis afternoon I see the jerk that I have thrown off 4 or 5 timesas he walked into the woods .
He is parked right in front of a sign .

I call the land owner , he calls the towing company .
I have to get back to work .
Tonight I went hunting at another axcees point .
When I leave I see the guy walking down the road .

I know it will cost him $105 to get his truck back .
And the towing lot is only open from 9 to 5

So I bet he dosn't come back

I talked to several other land owners about posting the signs , all agreed

OH BTW I took a OK yearling ( urban tag) tonight .
So a double good night

Johnch

Good thinking on the parking. Hopefully that fixes them.

That's a good way to go about things. I like it. No confrontation. Due warning. And completely legal. AND REALLY SUCKS FOR THE GUY WHO GETS TOWED!!! ( I know, got towed on a saturday/sunday night....had a test at 8:00am on Monday two hours away and wasn't even sure I could get my truck back on a Sunday, I freaked out and threw $65 bucks down the drain. BUUUTT, There was no confrontation, there was due warning and everything done was completely legal...which left me with nothing but empty pockets, a good scare, and decision to never make that mistake again.)

The towing idea is great, not only do they have to pay for the tow, most tow companies also charge daily storage which around here can range from anywhere between $35.00 to $50.00 per day.
Nice job johnch!
