I tend to agree with MO Archer. Build whata "forced funnel". If you drop a tree to force them to go around it and get in your shooting lanes they will most likely also hit the tree hard for the greener leaves they can't usually reach.

I have thought of sitting in the tall stuff but figured they would see me or smell me. I will have to give it a try. There is an area of tail grassy stuff that might conceal me. Will have to try that this evening. Thanks everyone for the input. This is only my second year bow hunting whitetails. I got a nice big doe last year in only a matter of 3 or 4 days hunting and saw lots of them and lots of movement. But the rut was in at the beginning of bow last year so I guess I got spoiled my first year out with the bow.

There's a prouduct out on the market called BowHuntersSetup its a 5 oz. spray bottle that you use as an attractent.
My friend and I use this on the bottom of our boots and walk around our stands , it really works pretty good once the deer smell it they'll follow that trail.
We also spray this stuff on leaves and limbs within bow range and the deer will eat the leaves and lick the limbs.
You can get this prouduct at Cabela's and it cost about $ 10.00 a bottle , I don't know if any other store sell it.

I disagree with the "pee" thing. As a young boy my father always pissed in a bottle, so that is what I did. As I got older I started hunting with friends and thier dads who pissed where ever they felt like going, and I did too a number of times. I've had deer not care, and I've had deer run the other way. The times the ran the other way they looked like does who almost walked through estrus doe piss. Not sure if you've ever sat out estrus piss before the rut, but does do not want to step in it. I'm guess that this is due to them not wanting a buck to think they are in heat when they're not...
I can personally tell the difference between, human, deer, dog and cat pee because of my history with all of them. What would make anyone think that a deer can't tell? 90% of hunters walk about fifty yards into the woods, sit on the ground in the same clothes they wore in their truck, eat, smoke and pee on the ground. The deer know these people are there, or have been there. I'm pretty sure that they know who the pee belongs to.
If I walk into a house that has a bunch of cats and they piss everywhere I can tell. Do you know why I can tell? Because I smell cat piss!
I've got a dog, who used to be a puppy, and he would sometimes pee in the house, so I know what his pee smells like.
I have four kids. As youngsters they have accidents, and guess what - I know what their pee smells like too!
But, for whatever reason, sometimes deer are curious and will be attracted to human pee, but that seems like a lofty way tojustify not wanting to deal with carrying a pee bottle to me. I've never had deer wind me and turn and leave like they have when I've pissed on the ground.
Dogs roll around in poo and road kill to cover their scent. And before they were domesticated they buried their pee and poo in an effort to be more successful hunters, but deer can't tell...

I have thought of a decoy and they seam to be curious to the Mackenzie in my back yard.It would be a little hard to carry out though.I remembered that there is a 6 foot dead tree in some tall grass about 25 to 30 yards from where they are crossing. I am going to try sitting there next timeand see what happens. Here is the pic I took about 3 months ago in my back yard,if you didn't see it in my other post.
