Default Summit XLS question

I just bought a Bushmaster xls the other day and merely looking at the design I already love it without even taking it into the woods yet. My question is... It looks as though I'd have to undo the backpack straps in order to climb with the stand then reattach them to get it out of the woods. In another thread about summit stands someone mentioned that some guys pack theirs upside down for ease of carry? I'm wondering if there's a way to attach and carry the stand so there's no undoingthen redoing andreadjusting of the backpack straps each and everytime I use it.

While I'm at it, although I have the Bushmaster xls, it looks identical to my untrained eyes like the x5. All the xls's I googled up have a straight arm rest while mine has a curved one like the x5. Perhaps I have last year's model? btw, it's brand new from Cabela's and weighs 16 lbs. - if that helps any in identification.

THANKS

Default RE: Summit XLS question

I had a Bushmaster and didn't have to do anything to the straps each time. Try watching the DVD or video that came with it.
