Swanie,
I love to hunt places like that. He has seen something in there
that you dont know about. I hunted a place like that. I was walking threw
a field I had permision to hunt and the landowner and a couple of friends ofthebordering propertytryed to run me off so what did I do I set up right next to the property line and busted a nice buck before it got to his property. That put the icing on the cake. They were 100 yards away and seen it all. No problems after that. Dont let it anger you use your head find the trails that lead to his property and use it to your advantage. People like this will get what is coming to them .

Many times in dealing with people like this if you get a game warden or the police involved they will stop just for fear of getting into trouble. As long as the authorities see it your way they can convince them to stop even if they aren't breaking any laws. Just dont do anything outside of the law yourself as that will give them the upper hand and it doesn't look good for all us hunters

It has been my experience that the "fear of the law" does nothing for these type of people. I mean, what does a total hillbilly really have to lose? It's not like another mark on his record is going to ruin his chances of getting elected president or cause him to loose his job as McDonalds fry boy.I say just ignore him if itis at all possible and before shotgun season spread fox and coyote urineall over his 500 feet so no deer go there. Thedeer won't go near his line as it is, but just hunt away from it andyou should be fine. This all goes back to my favorite saying again, "Never agrue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience."

Just hunt your season and don't worry about this ass. Ask to hunt your lease thru BP/shotgun season, since this neighbor has impacted your bow season. Report him to theauthorities for hunter harrassment and or trespassing

Not sure if this guy is thinking through the effectiveness with the salmon. They would be gone by morning! I agree with the rest of the posts, let the authorities handle it. Call them ASAP and get this thing nipped in the bud. In the meantime, use it to your advantage.
Pattern around the smelliness, and find out if the deer movement has been altered due to his antics. Again, I don't think the salmon would be a long term solution for this loo-oOo-se-eerr. The critters will have a big party with those vittles!

Lets just say that the tooth fairly would make him very rich after I got done with him. I say call the local officials and if that doesnt work then i say fight fire with fire. I would also tell the landowner that you leased the land from. He might have some pull with that jerk.

You're getting a lot of very good advice here. Trying to leverage your relationship with the leandowner and police is definitely the way to go. Trying to fight fire with fire will only escalate things to the point where you'll end up not enjoying your season.
