Hi, i've heard of people putting out molasses and the deer love it. I went and bought some, going to put it out tonight, just wondering how much of a reaction i will get, on this same location i have had a mineral lick out now for awhile, i'm going to put the molasses next to it on a stump, just wondering how long i should leave this stand alone until i hunt it ?

Depending on where you are, it works well....A friend of mine used to use it, in the U.P. of Michigan, but it brings in bears from the whole county. Deer do like it though, just careful for varmints, coons love it too.

I have used it for bear and I have seen deer eating it up to. I use the dry molasses. You can get it in a 50 lb bad. Not as messy and the liquid.
