I am hunting tomorrow morning for the first time in a morning. Bucks are beginning to chase in our area. If you were going to put out some scent, do you do so when you get in your stand an hour or so before light, or do you wait until shooting time? I don't want to have a deer come in in the dark.
Thanks,
Pierce

You have to take that chance. When you get to your tree you should only be there about 15 min before you can shoot anyway. The odds are the deer will not come that soon, but you sure as hell don't want to be moving around at shooting light puting scent out and then you get busted and reck your whole morning of hunting. Right?
