if you hunt long enough it will happen to everyone, just get back in the woods and give it another shot

Fox is a hard shot. They are a lot like a Bobcat. After the shot they can go on forever. You might have had a perfect shot. I shot a bobcat last year that had a perfect heart lung shot and the little guy went about 150 yards and was harder than hell to find. I wouldnt kick myself over it, and before I stepped back in the field, Id get rid of this second guessing. You did fine, if you cant get over it and quit second guessing yourself, your going to make big mistakes.

Ive beenin this game for a while now, and Ive killed my fair share, and lost mine too (2 Deer), and the latter never gets any easier...
