Or, if everyone coming brought a dozen, we'd have plenty and probably some to take home. That would be about $.89 a person. :D

Ahhh...the voice of reason. I was just making a list. 20 lbs of potatoes should be good for 2 breakfasts. Vte's bringing 5 lbs of yummy home grown sausage! 10 lbs of bacon. About5 dozenbiscuits, give or take. A few dozen pancakes. Loads of butter. lol...the list goes on and on.

I was thinking about Amish Friendship Bread, instead of the sweet rolls. I have a lot of batter in the freezer. I can put the batter in cupcake cups to make it easier. What do you think? I can make chocolate, choclate choclate chip, chocolate peanutbutter chip, plain, applesauce, banana nut, coconut, pina colada, poppyseed. I think that's it. lol

Oooooh, yummy, do you still do the "starter bags" off of those? I would love to have some more of that with the recipe! I used to have a neverending cycle of making it, throwing most away because I don't have enough friends, etc... LOL

I was just thinking, again...I do that a lot, that I can make up extra batter and pass it around to everyone. What you don't use, just store in the freezer.

On another note. I was out the other day, in one of the spots one ofyou willsit next year, and saw a few does and a couple of nice bucks.

I was thinking, to make it fair for everyone, I'll number the various spots and everyone can draw numbers from a hat. Or, if you like, I can give you a map and you can go out on your own.

lmao...great minds, BHG! Recipes will be attached to the starter bags!

:)It has been a long time since I had Friendship bread!!

I don't feel like my bringing the sausage and my share of the eggs is enough for my fair share.
Breakfast has been mentioned a few times, what is supper?

Since I am not from the area and you have scouted it, I personally would rather take your word for a good place to hunt instead of going out on my own.I'm in favor of drawing numbers. If others want to go out on their own, they still could just show them where those that have drawn numbers will be located. This is public land, and if it is like here in NC, you could easily wind up with a hunter within 10 yards of you regardless.
Shoot what am I saying, I hunt private land and have that problem![:@]

Well, I'll have PLENTY of starter for everyone.

Oh, Vick, don't worry. Remember, you're bringing the fry pans too! :)Sausage and eggs is good enough! Remember, there are other people attending. If everyone can bring something, we'll have what we need in no time.

I'll post a list of what's needed and everyone can choose what they want to bring from the list.

As far a supper goes, davidmil will be taking care of that...if he still intends on joining us. Maybe the thought of cooking for 30 people has scared him off? lol He originally was talking about veggies and steaks and pork chops. Now, that there are lots more people than everyone thought there would be, I think he's going to re-do his menu. I believe he said the more people there are, the less gourmet it will be.

A couple of things I can think of off the top of my head are chafing dishes anda really big camp coffee pot, or several regular sized camp coffee pots. I have one, but it won't do for a lot of people.

Like I said, I'll make a list and everyone can choose what they want to bring.

I hear the hints that a pig killing is near. I just want to make sure that 5 pounds will be enough sausage?

Okay, I just ran the numbers and if everyone shows, we'll need about 10 lbs. to cover 2 breakfasts. Thanks again, Vickie!
