Yes, please add me to the list. It's hard for me to say what my schedule will look like by next October, but I'll try to keep some time open.

Wonderful!! Hot dog, we're cookin' with gasoline now! lol

This is part of the area we will be hunting.

I'll do LOTS more scouting after season, this year, to find MORE great spots!

Let's open up the cabins for others who need them, if there is a campground close by, we have a pop up with a furnace, so we will just use that. We also have a fridge and a stove inside, so if anyone has anything that needs to stay cold, we can accomodate some of it.

We also have a nice blind we can bring.

I sure hope it works out for us to go... sure sounds like fun.

Ok, there's enough of us to fill 4 cabins. There're only 4 more cabins left. If you want to get in on the hunt AND into a cabin, you better add your name now, otherwise you'll have to pitch a tent or bring a camper!

The cabins are in the campground. There are several spots next to the cabin site.

I was thinking about this earlier; I guess I should have asked whether or not everyone minds sharing a cabin. If you are not comfortable sharing a cabin with the rest of us, feel free to bring your camper/tent. As I mentioned before, there are spaces next to the cabin area for campers and/or tents.

Anyone else want to join in the festivities? Nice cabins, hot showers, warm campfire, good food, new friends, whackin' and stackin' deer. Hmm?? Come on...you know you wanna. Ladies, bring your men. Men bring your ladies. Of course bring the kids! Hmmm....maybe I need to change the subject of the thread.

Monie,
Thanks for the heads up. I'm still new to the site. This all sounds great! I have mapquested and I am closer to 11 hours away. But what a wonderful chance to make my first deer with a bow to be one from Indiana! I will have to concult with my husband. And I would not come with out him, he is my life. Cost is my biggest question. Can you run the figures by me again?
I'll get back to you in a day or so. Can my husband go with me into the woods for a video hunt?
As far as stands, we'd have to bring our own, right? What kind do we need? I'd be scared to leave a ladder stand on public land, is it safe to do that? Around here it would get stole 5 mintues after you leave.
