I'm a little confused about this statement:
Just a reminder if you are looking for a deer that might not be dead dont set your bow down and continue because it is to thick. It almost cost me.
Does that mean --don't sit your bow down because you may need it for a follow up shot or that you should not have continued forward at all but backed out and waited instead??

just wondering--maybe I read it wrong. Either way, you got him and good job.
