Opinions Needed
I asked this on the OTHER AREA forum without the responses I thought I would get so I'll pass it on here to see what you folks think!
I'm wondering if I were to take some silicone spray used for waterproofing Tents and spray my camo with it Would it become a scent block suit?
The reason I ask is everyone is always talking about wearing their Rubber boots to the field to eliminate the scent as much as possible!
So why wouldn't this effect work on the clothing But a more DO IT YOURSELF type deal If it's waterproof Its gotta reduce the body odor! Don't you think!
Scent Block Clothing is TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO expensive for me to purchase!
I complain when I have to for out 70 on a pair of jeans for the Kids

i really do not know how the silicon would work. I do think your reasoning why it would work kinda makes sence but what about the smell of the silicon.
the cheap version of a sent loc suit is a military chemical warfare suit. go to the military surpluss store and inquire about one they did not use to be expensive but who knows with all the terrist crap going on these days.
this suit will leave black on you so make sure you wear something under it. the suit will keep you very warm.
hope this helps out

Jimmy is right. Check out sportsmans guide web site. www.sportsmansguide.com They have suits for under $20 and they work!

I do not care what you do, if you are not playing the wind you will get busted, scent elemination will cut down on your chances, but you still have to play the wind. BTW I would think the silicone would stink.
