does the can call work, or is ita gimmick?

It works sometimes, just like any other call. No call works EVERY time.

I have proof on video that it works, but it has only worked for me during the rut, combined with rattling and grunting.

Tried one for 2 seasons , it never called in a single deer .

the last time i was out i used it when deer where leaving the field to see what they would do.....they just kept on walking and it didnt seem to affect them. i dunno if they heard it or not

yes the can does work ., at certain times ., just like the grunt call and rattling horns ., i have had great luck with the can during the firearms season and the muzzle season.,ive seen buck off in a distance and used the can and they come right in., i did try the can (one)time during the eaarly bow season on a smaller buck just to see what he would do.,! he did nothing!! so i put the can away till the rut! .

Not in my opinion. And I have tried it plenty!
