Default Reccomend a Spin Feeder...

Whats a good one to use?
How loud are they?
How long does it take deer to get used to it?

I but the Moultrie 30 ga. Feeder system from walmart. Cost 99.00+ tax.

I have 3 of them and they work great and hold about 225lbs. of corn. The timers are digital, and you can set them to feed up to 16 times a day / night. They stand on 8 ft. legs. They are loud enough to be a dinner bell for any deer in the area. My feeders go off, and the deer start showing up shortly after they hear them go off.

The deer get acclimated to them in a matter of a few days. They are not scared off at all.

Good luck,
Good hunting,
God Bless

B.T.W. - I have had these 2 years, without the first problem. Also they operate on 1 6v battery, which feeding 2 x per day, will last you a month to 6 weeks.

Moultrie makes great feeders. I've had deer under the feeders at day break and when the feeder kicked on they ran about 15-20yrds and looked around...then returned under the feeder.
