Default Another "first" from my treestand

Another first…..from my treestand.

I’ve seen some wonderful, beautiful, serene, MAGNIFICENT things from the perch of my tree stand in the last year. Last night, though……I had a “first”.

I have a hunting spot that’s 1.75miles from our local high school. Last night……7:00…..I hear the JV Game announcer say……

“Ladies and gentlemen would you please rise and remove your caps for the playing of our national anthem”

You guessed it……..

Jeff

That would be considered acceptable movement while on stand in my opinion

That's pretty cool, out of all things you wouldn't expect sitting in the woods.

Thanks for sharing!

Hope you removed your cap

In one of my stand locations I am 400-500 yards from a barn where a band practices. On many nights I've been rocking out in stand listening to those guys jam.

You know Jeff, that's very cool. I'm just about as close as you are to my former High School and I listen to the bands play, the football games etc...Can't recall hearing the national anthem. From one particular stand I watch the lights come on as well.
