i have all my hunting gear layed out on my floor like im going hunting tommorow, even tho its been there for 2 weeks, it makes me feel like the season is almost here... how early do you guys pack and lay everything out for the first hunt?

I will usually get all my stuff organized a day or two before season opens. I know where all my stuff is so it is easier for me to organize on such short notice.

Usually it's a couple days, this year for some reason I have to do it all tomorrow.

These polls that the choices keep changing after I vote are driving me nuts.....but then again, that doesn't take much gas. [&:]

tommorows friday and i got 3 days off to hunt, life doesnt get much better, its good to see im not the only nut

I organize my stuff (except my bow and arrows) whenI put it into the scent-free bags, about a month before season. One bag has inner clothing, another has outer clothing, another has heavy clothing, one has my backpack and another has gear stuff. I don't open the bags until the day (usually early morning) of the hunt.

Uh... the night before.

Hubby told me I should get all of our stuff out and lay it out tonight while he was at work... I was like... I got two more days to do it!

I'm so excited, and oddly enough hunting season is the only thing I ever get excited about anymore. I went on a week long trip to Florida last year... couldn't get excited for that, enjoyed myself, but I sure was excited when I got back and only had 2 weeks til bow season kicked off! LOL

my season technically opened last weekend but i didn't get to hunt so my stuff has been ready for 2-3 weeks now. so a little over a week probably.

I've been gettin' my gear together since last year. Waiting for opening day!! 3 More Days!!!

the night before becaus ei am always adding more stuff " i forgot this how could i"dang that broke gotta get another one[] dang it i usually dont hunt the next morning cuz i spent so much time getting ready the night before[:'(]
