I guess it depends on my mood. Usually I get the same smug "I'm better than you" service with a hint of overpriced items and I don't. But if I get to deal with a guy who treats me right, I'll give em a tip

Sorry but comments like that chap my butt. Especially when I know how hard i work to make every customer happy with their purchases and the service they receive from me.

Go purchasea starter for a truck and see if you don't get charged not only for the starter but $90 per hour to install it.

Most pro shops are no where near overpriced. In the world of service oriented sales most pro shops are a bargain.

No I don't. I, like some of the others, am my own pro shop.

The only time I usually go into a bow shop is to buy a new bow. Otherwise I do everything else myself. But I am like that with everything. I work on my own cars, house, etc. Not that I don't want to pay for it rather because I'm a hands-on kind of guy and enjoy doing these things. I know when it's time to call a pro and I don't hesitate when the need arises.

bigbulls, I'm quite sure you work hard to make your customers happy with your service and I agree 100% that the service you provide can't be gotten at a place like Dicks or a similar wanna be location![:@] I was just having fun because I'm like a damn kid at Christmaswhen deer season is only a day away! Good luck to EVERYBODY who's going out Saturday!

Heck, bring him in a real good lunch someday for the whole shop. They're usually too dang busy this time of year to think about lunch.

... and THAT'S one of the best tips on here! I offerthe owner of the shop I frequent to buy him lunchall the time.

Yea, I tip them with my patronage!
I would have to say that is the trick. I would asume that they could ask for nothing more.
