Shot a nice 8 pint last night. Good dark red blood trail for about 70 yrds. All of a sudden it goes blank. Any suggestions. The woods are 15 -20 year old pines with waist high bushes all trhough. Kind of thick. I hate to lose this buck.

sounds like liver shot, check near any water you may have in the area.

If your still looking maybe get some buddies and do a grid search from last known blood sighting.
