Default Wish me luck....

I been using a couple moultrie cameras for a few years now, and last Christmas I got a Moultire game camera that uses the 35mm camera. It has the full camo case and all. I used it last year in Jan/Feb to test it out, and it worked fine. Easy to use and I never had a problem with it.

Well I bought a new Moultrie Digital this year, so now I have two digitals. One of the first they had, and this newer one. Both are the 2.1's but the newer model has more features and what not. Anyway, I got new battery's and film for the 35mm camera and put it all together in the house today to test it out. Well first thing I turn it on and it takes a picture(which it's not supposed to be do. It's has a 5min delay before becoming active). I think that's weird but I leave it set for 10 min then come back into the room and it takes a pic like it's supposed to. I then walk over and turn the camera off, snap snap snap snap snap it starts taking pictures. Before I can open the case and unhook the camera or close the lenz it takes 8 pictures.

I mess with it some more but everytime the case is off, and you plug in the camera with the lenz open it starts snaping pictures one right after another. So I call Moultrie and they say to send it in for repair. You think they'll actually fix it and get it back to me in time to use this year?

I have to pay shipping to them, but they pay for return. I'm going to send priority mail to get it there quicker....I hope it all goes well....I got my fingers crossed....

We had a problem with ours....it took 378 pictures.....went totally crazy. I called Moultrie and they said to send it in with the receipt...and that the warranty was only good for 1 year. Well, of course, we have had the camera for 13 months!! It has only been out probably a total of 8 weeks overall. So Good Luck with yours. Safe hunting. Diann
