Default Whisker Biscuit.. Out or Down?

Guys... Do you have your cock feather out or down with the whisker biscuit? I have been shooting with it down and have it paper tuned but it's wreaking havoc on my vanes. Any advice???

Up. Keeps from hitting the top of the bottom bracket.

Cock vane must be up for the wb to work properly. The black bristles are stiffer than the brown bristles. You don't want your vanes to have to pass through the black bristles. That's why the cock vane has to be up.

I must have had my head under a rock, cause I swear that's the first time I've heard about the cock feather going up. It does make sense, though. I've been shooting with it on the side all this time. My groups are very nice, so I can only imagine what will happen when I turn my nocks. Curiously, I haven't noticed any wear on any of the vanes that may have been caused by coming in contact with the ring or bottom bracket. I'll turn my nocks anyway and let you know what happens in a few days.

Up, it's the only way to go with the Bisquit.

Actually I have tried cock vane up and cock vane down and see no difference in my shooting.
I shoot feathers, maybe that makes the difference?

The cock feather should be up when shooting vanes. I suspect the reason the feathers don't make a difference is because they will collapse slightly providing more clearance from the bottom. I still would not do this because as stated the black bristles are stiffer than the brown as they support the arrow. This will eventually lead to your feathers wearing sooner.
