Default Rubber Band test

Can someone expain the rubber band test to me, I get the basic idea, but how far do you strech the rubber band.

Take a couple rubber bands that are basically the size of arteries/veins and stretch them somewhat in line/ kinda like a high tensil fence. They want to be taunt to simulate a vein/artery. If your broadhead pushes through the rubber bands without cutting them, they are not sharp enough for hunting.

I never heard of that before. I take the broadhead and slide the blade down my thumb nail. If it slides off its dull and if it digs in it sharp.

I saw something like that on a hunting show, they used surgical tubing.

If they will shave the hair off your arm is that sharp enough? I use this test instead of the rubber band test.
