RE: A Great picture!!

My flash does not work and the camera shop says over $200 to fix it. So, I'm trying to get through this season before having to buy another camera. Problem - how to take pictures in the dark. I've tried headlights, coleman lantern, and parking lights. This pic was taken with a lantern behind the camera. Any suggestions on what to take and how to take the pic in the field in the dark with no flash?

That really isn't a bad picture for using no flash.

My suggestion is get a new camera sooner rather than later....or wait until morning and take some pictures in the daylight hours.

But you can do some great things with a little editing.

I know this is the photo forum and all, but I would still think this should be on the hunting forums themselves also as these new forums don't see the traffic as the bowhunting or deerhunting forums. Just my $.02

This is my favourite picture. It is of my 14 yr oldson and I on his first hunt 2 years ago. First time he pulls the trigger on his first goose on his first hunt.....he gets a band!
All the different shades of green are what got my attention also. All in all, one of my better pics thanks to a bud who dabbles in photography. He was using a cheaper SLR at the time.
