Pa Hunters anyone hunt WMU 2D?
Anyone hunting WMU 2D? Our camp and usual hunting area is 2F but since that sells out before non residents can apply. We opted to apply for doe licensesin 2D since they allocate twice as many tags. Based on the fact that our checks cleared the bank we may actually score some tags!
Now we have to break some new ground (which is always fun) Our Camp is in Lucinda so we are close to the Clarion Airport Game lands but we have never hunted that area. Would appreciate any info on this or other 2D areas. Thanks

I hunt 2-d...however, i screwed up and sent the unsold anterless application in instead of the right one. So i may not get a tag because i had to resend. But i hunt up around Nowrytown, Saltsburg area. Not familiar with you area. I would think anywhere in Indiana is money, ALOT of deer up there and BIG buck. Another thing...those buck are more agressive up there during the rut then the ones around my house...i love it.

One of the farms I hunt is in 2D, its a pretty dang good area. As nutter said, this area is pretty well known for big bucks. I will be hunting Chambersville which is kinda between Indiana and Marion Center. There are plenty of deer left in this area. A buddy counted over 50 deer last week when driving the 20 minutes from his house in to the city of Indiana!
