That kind of attitude is why I love this site, bjanakos! I think the basis of all true ethics is realizing that there is something of value outside of oneself and acting accordingly. The harness posts are a great example.

This one is easy. I try to hunt and LIVE so that my 14 yr old son doesn't ever have to wonder which road to take. Ilive my life under the assumptionhe's going to follow the path I'm on.
Someone told me a long time ago.......that there were 2 ways to do things. The right way......and the wrong way. I just tell him to always take a moment to think before he acts.....and ask himself the question.
THIS is what being a parent is about, to me. Having this responsibility has made me a better man. It's made the question of ethics a moot point, though.
