The most challenging archery hunt I ever had was with a basket rack 6 point. Hespotted me in the stand and after what seemed like an hour standoff he finally dropped his head and gave me enough time to draw and drop him. I aimed low anticipating him jumping the string and spined him. I was proud of that hunt! I only had a few days to hunt that year and somehow pulled it off.

I agree 100%. Anything taken with a bow is a great accomplishment. I have friends who only hunt with a gun. I can't influence them to try to hunt with a bow. I would much rather hunt with a bow than a gun. I feel that it is the most exciting rush a hunter can experience. With a rifle the may can take that 200+ yard shot without any problem, but with bow hunting the deer has to be up close and personal with you for a good shot to be presented. So yeah, be proud of any animal taken with a bow.
