I usually take a bottle of water and some of those twin packs of club crackers that you can get from salad bars and maybe an apple.

on the way up to the cabin i usually stop somewhere and buy a whole bunch of goodies to bring with me. i mean if you are gonna be hunting it is something to enjoy so i buy chocolate, beef jerky and well anything that fancies my hunger at the time and i just unwrap them and put them into a ziplock bag so i dont have to worry about the wrappers or littering and there is less noise that unwrapping all of them. so all i have to say is DIG IN lol
one more thing is make sure you pack lots of water or drinks
because sitting in a stand all day wears you out and you dont wanna get dehydrated...

I usually pack a peanut butter and banana sandwich. It really re-energizes me around mid-day. I also figure it’s something that deer might like, so the smell won’t hurt. I also usually pack an apple and/or some rail mix…again smells that a deer would like. Also, I don’t eat any meat the day I hunt. I figure the smell of dead flesh on my breath might set off some red flags with a deer, and I don’t want to spray no-scent in my mouth..tastes awful!
