my sb started making a lot of noise a couple of weeks ago. it sounds like something is rattling andive checked everything that i could think of. could my string be making that noise because it has some signs of wear. any help would be appreciated

Watch your cable at your bottom cam, I've seen alot of Switchbacks wearing the serving open.
Strings shouldn't rattle, they twang. Start removing your accessories and do the bang test....bang on the riser and listen for loose parts.

i just measured my axle to axle length and it was 3/4 of an inch longer than what it was supposed to be. could this be why my bow is loud. and would a new string fix it?

Check the screws on the cams. One of mine was loose last weekend and the bow was unholy loud. Two twists of the wrench and it was quiet as anything.
I would take it in though. Too close to the season to be messing around!
