Default Fat mans tree stand??

I am very dissapointed today, I just picked up a brand new Lone Wolf alpha sit down andclimbclimber and took it out back to try and discovered I doesn't fit!!!. The adjustment knobs were murder, and I had to put my legs together to sit down . It was a tight fit. I am a Big Guy at 6' tall and 270lbs and have a 40 inch waist. I don't think I could handle 6 or 8 hours sitting in it without feeling like I was in a mid evil confessoin device.

What now?, I guess I am going to have to return the stand I wanted so for long, but to exchange for what?? I need help from all you fat and or husky hunters. What do you use?? Thanks for any advise. Jim

I too am your size and I use a Summitt Goliath and love it...love it....love it. Plenty of room and not too heavy. The lone wolf is lighter than the goliath though.

I am too your size and use the Loggy Bayou LegendXLTree Stand. Big men need big stands to shoot big deer.

6' 275lbs and I use a API Grand Slam Magnum Extreme. I love this stand. Roomy, quiet and comfortable. I can sit all day. Only problem is that she's heavy. I'm currently shopping for something lighter. Thanks for the heads up on the Lone Wolf. That one was on the top of my list to try.

If I was your size I'd use the ground.Ya know your not 275 all camoed up with gear. And all of it's got to get up there some how. The stands are tested at a lot more than they're rated at though.

Hope you work things out. Cougar 9 is looking for a deal on a climber.

Moonglo is right. The Summit Goliath was designed specifically for those who need a bigger stand. And the Summot line is great. I have the Viper and love it.
